Sales Associate

Position Overview

At Baxter, we are deeply connected by our mission to save and sustain lives. As a Sales Associate, you will be a key representative of Baxter and our products, building trust and providing solutions to healthcare professionals. Your role involves educating customers on our Patient Support Systems portfolio, including Smartbeds, surfaces, and other medical devices, to optimize product usage. You will also support territory sales activities, assist with training new team members, and act as a liaison between Baxter and our customers.

Salary

The estimated pay range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two or more years of experience, preferably in sales
  • Outstanding communication skills and public speaking abilities
  • High level of motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity
  • Excellent influential skills
  • Ability to implement strong strategy plans and bring tasks to completion
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile

Responsibilities

  • Provide product in-service training for the Patient Support Systems portfolio in a hospital setting.
  • Support territory sales activities and assist with training new sales team members.
  • Ensure educational programs meet corporate and customer goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and customers.
  • Work directly alongside the sales team and customers.
  • Participate in delivery/implementation planning activities (customer meetings, conference calls, WebEx training, etc.).
  • Assist in driving new sales opportunities while helping maintain existing business.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation.
  • Conduct negotiations and finalize sales.
  • Lead all aspects of the installation of new products post-delivery to customers.

Travel Requirements

  • Territory: Northern California and the Central Valley
  • Travel up to 75%, with overnight regional travel expected.
  • Occasional National travel is possible.
