The Home Health Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. The Home Health Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Strategy Advancement Advisor is responsible for:
- Strategic initiative oversight and execution: Develop comprehensive strategic plans and execute them with a minimum-viable-product mentality and bias for progress over perfection.
- Clinical Outcomes Improvement: Partner with clinical SMEs and analytics partners to identify, implement, and measure the outcomes impact of clinical enhancements to value-based programs.
- Operational Improvement: Analyze current operations and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and establish solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to define opportunities, present findings, build cross-organizational alignment, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data, analytics, and evidence-based clinical practice to support strategy development and decision making.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in strategy consulting/corporate strategy, or healthcare related experience in finance or operations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience combined with an advanced degree, or 6 plus years of experience
- Must have independently led significant, quantifiable business impact in fast-paced strategic environments
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Experience leading strategic initiatives related to clinical care delivery preferred
Skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to author and present materials for Management Team/CEO-level audiences with limited guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
- Track record of setting and achieving performance metrics and KPIs, with a focus on delivering tangible and measurable results
- Prefer candidates with an understanding of AI technologies and their applications in healthcare and clinical settings

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees will be provided with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
