Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in localization, with a focus on quality assurance and quality control, and familiarity with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar. They should also be able to handle specialized content areas including In Vitro Diagnostics, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Devices, Patient-facing materials, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy, Scientific Publications, and Investigator-facing documents, and adhere to client-specific requirements and applications.

Responsibilities

The Hebrew Quality Control Specialist will perform rigorous quality control checks on translated documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client-specific guidelines, conducting non-linguistic and linguistic quality checks on clinical research documents and other life sciences-related content. This role involves reviewing and verifying the formatting and layout of documents, utilizing CAT tools to carry out QC tasks, and documenting QC findings using Microsoft Office, while collaborating closely with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations and maintaining the expected capacity of reviewing 5,000+ weighted words per locale, per week, including Fridays.
