Requirements

  • Experience leading HR Business Partnering and Advisory teams (approximately 12 heads)
  • Expertise in Reward, Employee Relations, Employee Experience, Organisation Development, capability and design, Talent Management & Succession Planning, Change Management
  • Budget ownership experience where relevant

Responsibilities

  • Shape, lead and develop the UK’s HR Business Partnering and Advisory teams, partnering with business leadership and COEs to achieve business objectives through strategic people resources
  • Contribute to defining and developing HR and Business strategies and objectives
  • Set people up for success, create outstanding employee experience, and develop enablers for an agile, responsive organisation delivering exceptional performance
  • Work with HR leadership across Cabot and Encore to develop and implement integrated innovative HR strategies, policies, processes, practices, and tools in key areas (Reward, Employee relations, Employee Experience, Organisation Development, Talent Management & Succession Planning, Change Management)
  • Implement and develop talent management and people development processes to build organisational and individual capability
  • Develop people-oriented policies and practices that are fit for purpose, aligned with business culture, and enhance business strategy
  • Provide practical people management advice and guidance while building empowerment and capability across management and leadership teams
  • Contribute to key business objectives, drivers, and performance issues through partnership with the business
  • Support development of business units' strategic agenda and lead/enable HR strategy in collaboration with business leadership
  • Establish credible relationships to enhance leadership team performance through coaching, feedback, and challenge
  • Ensure effective organisation design and right capability to execute strategy at optimal cost
  • Leverage technology for measurement and analysis of HR solutions, services, and metrics to inform business decisions
  • Develop and coach HRBPs and Advisors to create a high-performing, empowered, aligned HR team
  • Build attitude, capability, and bench-strength in HR BP team
  • Deliver through Partnering and Advisory Teams: coaching leaders on HR initiatives, evaluating initiatives for business objectives, creating methodologies for change programmes, developing consultancy skills to influence/coach/guide leaders
  • Connect and collaborate with COE and People Managers as voice of business in HR and voice of HR in business
  • Champion communication and engagement, challenging leaders to improve accountability
  • Support business units to build organisational, team, and individual capability; drive talent management (capability/talent mapping, succession planning, PDP creation, talent moves)
  • Collaborate with SMEs to drive employer brand for attracting and retaining talent
  • Lead/take part in cross Cabot/Encore initiatives
