Requirements

  • Proven experience in content strategy or product content leadership roles, ideally within wellness, fitness, education, or consumer apps
  • Multimedia and multi-format experience — comfortable creating podcasts, educational articles, or other content packages
  • Strong understanding of how content impacts user behavior and product success
  • Experience working cross-functionally with content creators, product managers, designers, and analysts
  • Systems thinker — able to structure content at scale using taxonomies, metadata, and content models
  • Insightful and user-focused — comfortable interpreting user research and data to inform content direction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills — able to drive initiatives forward across multiple teams without direct authority
  • Experience with A/B testing, personalization, or content recommendation systems (plus)
  • Passion for health, fitness, or wellness (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Work with content leads and managers to define and own the content strategy for each product — aligning content with core user journeys, paid marketing, and growth opportunities
  • Partner with Content Production to ensure the right formats, themes, and topics are being created to support product goals
  • Develop and maintain a content taxonomy/framework (e.g., by goal, life stage, ability, etc.) that enables better content discovery, personalization, and testing
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to ensure content integrates meaningfully within the product experience
  • Support localization and international expansion through scalable content frameworks
  • Work with Data/Analytics to assess content performance, identify gaps, and optimize for activation, engagement, and retention
  • Champion user-centric content thinking across teams, ensuring we address the needs of diverse audiences (e.g., younger users, different ability levels, varied health goals)
  • Propose and prioritize content-driven product initiatives and expedite content innovation
  • Foster cross-functional alignment on content direction across Product, Content, and Marketing
