Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's efforts in expanding business with existing and new state law enforcement customers across multiple product lines
  • Report into the VP of State Business Development
  • Serve as a critical business partner for the Major Accounts sales team and Government Affairs team
  • Become familiar with products by sitting in on sales demos and joining Government Affairs planning calls (first 30 days)
  • Understand accounts, review customers, study past performance metrics including win rates, revenue trends, and customer feedback (first 30 days)
  • Meet with key stakeholders including sales leaders, Government Affairs, strategy, marketing, product, and more (first 30 days)
  • Get in person with one or more law enforcement customers (first 30 days)
  • Lay the groundwork to create strategy to achieve OKRs, assess timelines and dependencies, research competitors and their strategies (first 30 days)
  • Evaluate tools and processes used for managing accounts (e.g., CRM systems) (first 30 days)
  • Develop a State and Agency outreach plan for the next quarter (first 60 days)
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans and create a strategic plan for major accounts (first 60 days)
