Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware operations, preferably within a consumer electronics or medical device industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to understand and combine large amounts of information and arrange them to clear, actionable tasks and drive them to completion. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, as is the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
The Hardware Operations Program Manager will drive Supply Chain readiness for Oura’s hardware products, ensuring timely delivery, scale, cost, and quality. They will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams, manage relationships with Contract Manufacturers and suppliers, and lead post-ramp validations for product and process changes. The role involves identifying and managing improvements around the supply chain in cost, quality, efficiency, and output, as well as proactively addressing issues and obstacles to ensure program deliverables are met. Furthermore, they will provide regular program status updates to senior management, foster a collaborative environment, and support internal teams with feedback on manufacturing feasibility and supplier selection.
