Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field, with 9+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years relevant experience
  • Experienced in the life sciences and clinical laboratory industry developing and executing on portfolio management initiatives to ensure business continuity and operational excellence in the IVD market
  • Experienced in complex analytics of portfolio financial performance and market analytics to deeply understand customer needs, challenges and translate these together to actionable results with a cross-functional team
  • Led and supported projects with risks and complexity, collaborating with cross-functional teams of R&D, regulatory, clinical, quality, finance, program management and operations
  • Strongly preferred: Bachelor’s degree in science or related field, and a Master’s in Business Administration with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • PhD or advanced degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Own the portfolio optimization strategy for Clinical Chemistry reagent and assays, driving initiatives that enhance profitability, and support long-term sustainability
  • Lead obsolescence and discontinuation strategies and manage customer transitions across the CC portfolio
  • Serve as a member within the Operational Leadership Team, translating insights into actionable strategies that shape portfolio direction and inform for roadmap decisions
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to gather voice of customer (VoC) insights and translate them into actionable strategies for portfolio development
  • Lead new product development efforts from concept to launch, expanding the product line with differentiated solutions that meet evolving customer needs
