As a Group Product Manager within Marqeta's Risk, Fraud, and Disputes Team, you will own the entire Risk Decisioning Product suite. This role requires a Senior Product Leader to challenge existing approaches and develop a revolutionary fraud management product suite. You'll balance fraud prevention with protecting legitimate transactions. Strong AI leadership and a deep understanding of AI and fraud product development are essential. You’ll collaborate with engineering, data science, risk operations, legal, GTM, and marketing teams. Marqeta operates on a Flexible First model.

  • Define and execute a clear strategy aligning with company growth objectives.
  • Lead and inspire teams with a compelling product vision and roadmap.
  • Understand fraud and risk for issuers, identifying the impact of initiatives.
  • Develop AI-powered products addressing customer pain points and driving business outcomes.
  • Own the P&L for your product suite and drive business/product/operational changes.
  • Represent Marqeta as a thought leader in fraud and risk management at industry events.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing and technical teams to prioritize features.
  • Create Product Requirement Documents focusing on customer and business value.
  • Deliver customer value iteratively through launch phases and releases.
  • Serve as a technical advisor, educating and evangelizing features to customers.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market partners to develop product collateral.
  • Provide context to the team and organization on industry and customer life cycles.
  • Identify critical metrics to assess product success and performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product management roles designing and delivering fraud and risk solutions.
  • Proven track record of setting vision and driving product growth.
  • Deep understanding of fraud and risk for issuers, including competitive landscape, AI-based fraud tools, rules-based fraud engines, and strong customer authentication tools.
