Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role within a business office environment is required. Experience in a healthcare setting, such as a medical office or insurance claims, is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Apple Operating System, Google Chrome, and Gmail. Stellar written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate comfortably with clients, claimants, and physicians. The role demands the ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple tasks with rapidly changing priorities, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. An Associate's Degree is preferred. Candidates must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted connection.

Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling the intake of new cases by reviewing and verifying information, drafting cases in the Dane Street system (AccessDS), and working with clients to obtain any missing information. They will also be responsible for sorting, organizing, and creating medical document listings as required. Key tasks include monitoring, processing, and tracking cases to ensure deadlines are met. The representative will assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on specific guidelines, client requirements, and reviewer availability, ensuring no conflicts of interest. They will also interact with clients by providing frequent updates on cases in progress and communicating any questions regarding referral information. Ensuring proper documentation is provided to the assigned reviewer and the client is also a core responsibility.
