Requirements

Candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant designation and have over 8 years of experience in global tax, audit, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on US federal, state, and corporate taxes, as well as international regulations. Extensive experience working with MNCs is required, and experience with startups will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

The Global Tax and Compliance Manager will independently prepare and review US tax returns, including but not limited to Forms 1099, 1120, 1120F, 1065, provincial/state returns, and city returns, ensuring the timely filing of US federal, state, and local tax returns and overseeing correspondence with US taxing authorities. They will manage tax provisioning following ASC 740 under US GAAP, including DTA/DTL positions, Valuation Allowance requirements, FIN48 reporting, and APB23 analysis, identify and support efficiency opportunities across US federal, state, and local tax jurisdictions, and assist in tax management and oversight of group companies. Additionally, the role involves managing global tax, audit, and corporate secretarial (Co-Sec) compliance with the help of local country partners, maintaining and monitoring a global compliance schedule, handling global Transfer Pricing (TP) setup and managing TP audits and assessments, and overseeing RFP processes for new consultants.
