Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry, possess an active and unrestricted license in South Carolina, and have at least 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-levels. Applicants must be willing to supervise a minimum of 4 Nurse Practitioners and have no malpractice payouts, licensure disciplinary actions, or criminal/professional investigations in the last 5 years. A compact license or willingness to obtain one or be licensed in multiple states is also required.

Responsibilities

The Collaborating Psychiatrist will provide clinical supervision to employed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners remotely, conducting a minimum of one 20-30 minute supervision session per month via Zoom. Responsibilities include being available via text/email during business hours for same-day responses, reviewing charts/progress notes as required by state laws, and completing a brief Google Document after each monthly supervision. The psychiatrist must stay knowledgeable of company policies and program guidelines and complete annual HR training.
