Responsibilities
Resolve employee and HR customer telephone and/or electronic inquiries and service requests for HR COE areas (Benefits, Staffing, Compensation, HRIS, Leave Administration, Employee & Labor Relations)
Educate employees and HR customers on company practices/policies and tools to encourage self-resolution
Perform daily phone work using call management system
Support managers, employees, and HR staff in execution and consistent application of core HR processes; provide solutions; coach and counsel
Own HR case management process: open cases (tickets), manage expectations, escalations, and closures; develop solutions by collecting/analyzing information
Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to HR process, system, and policy requests
Refer complex cases to appropriate HR Specialist, COE, or HR Business Partner
Utilize HR knowledgebase and tools to support operational needs
Assist with updating HR knowledgebase, desktop procedures, and recommend HR Portal content improvements
Maintain customer contact until inquiry resolution, informing of status and resolution
Achieve or exceed service-level agreements (accuracy, timeliness, professionalism)
Make recommendations for improved/streamlined procedures to enhance efficiency
Contribute to maintenance of employee records and files, ensuring legal compliance and satisfying inquiries
Enhance department/organization reputation by owning new requests and adding value
Act as informal resource for less experienced colleagues
