Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations while adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Directly supervise staff
  • Maximize store profits through managing controllable expenses, optimizing revenue streams, and leading/developing a high-performing team
  • Ensure guest and associate satisfaction, exceed brand standards, and manage store profitability
  • Select, develop, and effectively lead a highly engaged team
  • Cultivate a positive shopping experience for guests; respond to complaints/inquiries; solicit feedback and create plans to meet expectations
  • Staff the store appropriately for 24/7 demands; proactively identify hiring needs
  • Allocate resources, delegate work, and manage time through efficient scheduling and labor usage
  • Conduct all aspects of management training and oversee associate training for skills and job safety
  • Create and sustain an inclusive store atmosphere by promoting diversity, understanding, respect, and engagement
  • Value associates through celebration and recognition
  • Support associate and management development via talent management processes (performance management, development plans, career conversations, opportunities)
  • Provide direction/support for the team; monitor/assess work; give feedback/coaching; complete performance appraisals; take corrective action; participate in hiring
  • Ensure store conditions meet/exceed standards for safety, service, and operational efficiency by analyzing opportunities and ensuring execution
