  • Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is a MUST
  • Expert users of Peak Design gear or genuine interest in quickly developing that knowledge base
  • Take pride in making the store a clean, friendly, inviting place
  • Creatives and adventurers (hobbyists or professionals) who can talk shop with passionate folks and understand their needs
  • Love to host, educate, and enthrall others, and also love to listen
  • Experience putting yourself out there in the community (e.g., attend Meetups, join clubs, make connections)
  • Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics (e.g., arranging items neatly, maintaining order)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and determine the needs of every customer
  • Know every product inside and out, explain its uses, and how it fits into the product ecosystem
  • Handle product returns, warranty claims, and concerns efficiently with friendly, no-hassle service
  • Handle product support issues in-person and on the phone
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Internalize customer feedback and provide it to the store manager
  • Be creative, proactive, and share ideas to make the store more inviting, inclusive, and dynamic
  • Maintain an immaculate environment inside and outside the store, including neat merchandising, clean stock area, and sidewalk upkeep
  • Support monthly community events (brainstorm, design, execute, run) in-store and outside
