Responsibilities

  • Build reliable, reusable, and simple internal services (Core Services: APIs & systems like Payment, Messaging, Document Processing, Pricing Engine)
  • Develop shared platforms (e.g., AI Platform) with strong adoption across areas
  • Create operational tooling: dashboards and automation for reliability, observability, and scalability
  • Ensure foundational user experience quality and consistency through shared layout systems, navigation, and reusable UI components
  • Empower product teams by reducing their cognitive load
  • Work with product crews across Alan areas, Architecture Group, and Tech Foundation Area to scale systems globally and align with long-term technical strategy
  • Influence product direction, mentor engineers, and shape Alan’s internal platform
  • Build and own services using Python/Flask, React, PostgreSQL in a monorepo, with daily deployments and distributed ownership
