Responsibilities

Cover Pharmacist Shifts: Fill pharmacist scheduling gaps as directed by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC)
Pharmacy Oversight: Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts (without overlap)
Prescription Fulfillment: Follow and direct the pharmacy team to follow pharmacy workflow procedures and utilize safety guardrails
Patient Care: Demonstrate empathy and genuine care for patients, collaborating with their healthcare team and proactively resolving insurance and/or medication issues
Immunizations: Proactively offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy; engage and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize
Inventory Management: Support the effective management of pharmacy inventory in all pharmacies worked
Coaching & Mentorship: Coach the pharmacy team to demonstrate compassionate care and resolve patient issues
