Requirements

  • HBO-level education in business administration, technical, pharmaceutical, or food technology, or equivalent
  • Good Dutch and English speaking and writing skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a comparable supervisory role or in industry
  • Flexibility to work in 3-shift schedule
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to speak the language of operators and management

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of operators (5 shifts) and own the production lines during your shift
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of daily operations
  • Monitor production results and continuously strive for improvement
  • Be a visible leader on the shop floor, fostering a positive, performance-oriented culture with focus on safety, quality (GMP environment), and team development
  • Safeguard production progress and actively plan/organize daily production activities, optimizing use of operators, machines, and materials; adjust as needed
  • Coordinate between production and support teams, with proper handover to the next shift
  • Drive OEE targets, minimize waste and downtime to maximize output
  • Ensure compliance with all operational quality and safety standards during shifts
  • Systematically and fairly evaluate operators during work time and guide their development based on needs, in line with HR policy/systems
