Candidates should possess a High School diploma or GED, and related industry experience is preferred. They should have a general understanding of processing procedures and experience working in a high-volume warehouse or production facility is desirable. Knowledge of GMP policy is preferred, and bi-lingual skills are considered a plus. The ability to lift and/or move 25-50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and stoop or bend frequently are also required.
The Fresh Cuts Associate will aid the line leader with daily transactions and maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient operation on their production line, proactively identifying and analyzing problems and recommending appropriate action to improve performance. They will ensure produce of the highest quality is made ready and available, monitor production performance KPIs, maintain a safe and clean workspace, prepare, cut, and repack product according to customer specifications, operate machinery such as potato peelers and bag sealers, and be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the work area while adhering to SQF standards and GMPs.
