About the Role

  • Build and deploy high-quality applications to enhance in-store operations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering teammates to support critical fresh food supply chains for thousands of grocery stores.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and users to deliver excellent product experiences across iPad, web front-end, API, and data layers.
  • Contribute to and provide feedback on major design decisions.
  • Develop analytics and monitoring/observability systems to understand system behavior and inform decisions.
  • Ensure software quality through automated testing.
  • Design and build reusable and extensible UIs, APIs, and solutions.
  • Partner with machine learning specialists to drive new feature development.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in full-stack web development, including front-end and API development.
  • Experience building and maintaining production-level APIs and applications.
  • Collaborative attitude with a highly self-directed approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges.
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Required Skills: TypeScript (or JavaScript), React, and Python.
  • Nice-to-have Skills: PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Databricks, DBT, Terraform/OpenTofu, Azure, pair programming, test-driven development.
