Responsibilities

The freelance writer will create Pro Spotlight features by conducting 30- to 60-minute phone interviews with Houzz Pros to gather information about their business and projects. Responsibilities include reviewing pre-interview forms, selecting high-quality images from Houzz Profiles, writing engaging 600-700 word stories that align with Houzz editorial standards, and formatting the story as a Houzz Ideabook for editor review. Writers will also need to be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and communicate in a friendly, polished, and professional manner.
