Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a native Mandarin speaker with C1+ level English proficiency, possessing 1-3 years of experience in subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process. A passion for their native language and culture, including expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities, is also required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a Mandarin (Traditional) Subtitler, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering Mandarin (Traditional) subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, handling all steps of the subtitling process and ensuring prompt delivery to the Language Coordinator. You will also receive feedback from the Language Coordinator, implement revisions, coordinate localization tasks with partners, assist in creating localized metadata, maintain clear communication, and build familiarity with the Beast brand.
