Responsibilities

  • Lead curation, planning, and promotion for music and culinary events in LA, growing networks as needed
  • Develop local relationships in LA to ensure events are connected to and representative of the city
  • Source and onboard unique venues that align with Sofar’s brand and mission
  • Own the quality of shows (including attending them), working with the LA team for magical, hospitality-rooted experiences
  • Create a vision and collaborate with the LA team to build and execute strategy for growing culinary experiences (e.g., monthly shows, neighborhoods, themes)
  • Promote and sell tickets using self-directed local marketing tactics
  • Create content to promote events, coordinating with photographers/videographers or producing own content
  • Identify and build relationships with local organizations for community building, broader reach, and co-promotion
