Candidates should have experience with updated and new provincial and federal taxation regulations in Canada. They must be able to run payroll end-to-end, weekly or bi-weekly, and possess knowledge of payroll technologies and modules. Including certifications, industry knowledge, and experience is preferred.
The Payroll Consultant will be responsible for preparing and executing pay orders, administering statements of payment, and processing taxes and employee benefits. They will track hour rates, wages, and compensation benefits, address payroll-related inquiries, and prepare reports for management and the finance department. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to training new payroll staff and HR resources.
