Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics or relevant experience
5+ years of experience in a similar position
Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
Understanding of how technical decisions impact the user of what you’re building
Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar
Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
Skill and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users
Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
Willingness and interest to travel as needed
Experience with technologies such as Python, Javascript, React, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services

Responsibilities

Build the business within the context of a single customer at a time
Seek out valuable, high-impact problems that hold customers back (multi-domain: cashflow, production, safety, environment)
Spend time with customers to understand the true nature of their problems
Create new solutions and prove their value, owning the process from start to finish
Help navigate and utilize Gecko’s platforms and tools that scale across customers
Persist until solutions achieve real impact
