Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events from start to finish
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
  • Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring high standards of service and presentation
  • Handle administrative tasks such as coding invoices, assisting in monthly accounting processes and invoicing catered events
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and event records
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
  • Support the kitchen team during peak times or staff shortages
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and during events
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Maintain control of food and supply costs and effectively manage inventory to its lowest functional level
