Requirements

  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Ability to recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and company growth
  • Relationship-building with key stakeholders, supporting plans/initiatives, identifying goals, measuring progress, addressing improvements, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, TourtoTeach, communicating/collaborating on operations, initiatives, merchandising, and change efforts
  • Model exceptional customer service, manage/support initiatives (e.g., store of the community, outreach), resolve customer issues, develop action plans, and ensure high-quality experiences
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L, managing budgeting/forecasting/expenses, monitoring merchandise/inventory/operations, and implementing plans to achieve sales/profit goals and reduce shrink
  • Provide supervision/development for hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize, communicate, promote belonging, recruit to meet staffing/growth needs
  • Coordinate/oversee job-related activities: develop stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, set/communicate goals, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvements, demonstrate adaptability, promote learning
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics/integrity via action plans, Open Door Policy, and guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create belonging culture, provide thriving opportunities
