A high school diploma or GED and current valid driver's license (CDL preferred) are required, along with medium/heavy duty truck technical training such as a 2-year school and 4 years of experience or 5 years of experience.
Fleet Technician III involves mentoring and teaching Fleet Technician I and II, sharing expertise for their development, and may include moderate supervisory roles when managers are unavailable.
Strong candidates have medium/heavy duty truck technical training (2-year school + 4 years experience or 5 years experience), proficiency in electrical repairs, welding, and expertise in diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles including engines, refrigeration units, and electrical systems.
