Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in an automotive servicing or fleet environment
  • Strong diagnostics capability using OEM or third-party diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with mechanical and bodywork repairs using OEM repair manuals
  • Competent with computer systems for tracking and recording maintenance tasks (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable interacting with engineers, operations staff, and drivers
  • Strong understanding of workshop safety and compliance standards
  • US driving license

Responsibilities

  • Routine & Preventative Maintenance – Execute scheduled servicing and inspections per manufacturer and internal guidelines
  • Mechanical & Electrical Fault Resolution – Diagnose and repair a wide range of issues using OEM documentation and advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Vehicle Readiness for Demonstrations – Ensure vehicles meet high standards of cleanliness, reliability, and functionality for public-facing use
  • Workshop Safety & Compliance – Adhere to safety best practices, risk assessments, and regulations
  • Repair Documentation & Tracking – Accurately record faults found, actions taken, and parts used using digital tools
  • Feedback into Fleet Performance – Communicate recurring issues or improvement ideas to the Fleet Service Manager and Field Engineering teams
  • Customer-Facing Communication – Engage with fleet drivers to resolve issues they report and ensure a positive operational experience
