Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar fleet or commercial management role
  • Strong background in fleet operations, asset management and supplier management
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and cost management
  • Strong organisational and managerial capability, with the ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements within fleet or operational settings
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to fleet management and workplace health and safety
  • Confident communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong problem solving ability and comfort working across multiple tasks and priorities
  • Solid understanding of system transactions, databases and inventory or fleet management software (CargoWise experience is an advantage)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office capability
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and remain open to learning and development
  • Experience with dangerous goods compliance is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient, safe and cost-effective management of the specialised fuel fleet across New Zealand, Fiji and Singapore
  • Manage day-to-day fleet activity, including lease agreements, unit movements, repairs and maintenance, testing schedules and asset optimisation
  • Monitor fleet utilisation, track units across multiple hubs and ensure all equipment meets required standards
  • Manage supplier and customer agreements, ensuring service levels, pricing and compliance obligations are met
  • Act as the PBF Health and Safety Champion, maintaining safety documentation, supporting audit readiness and investigating incidents as required
  • Handle reporting, budgeting and forecasting, working closely with the wider team to deliver accurate monthly updates and annual plans
  • Foster positive relationships with internal teams and external partners, representing PBF professionally
  • Seek opportunities to improve operational and commercial outcomes
