Responsibilities

  • Act as orchestrator of finance operations, rigorously prioritizing initiatives across finance, accounting, and operations workstreams
  • Manage the order-to-cash process from order form execution through accounts receivable and collections, ensuring cash conversion efficiency
  • Partner with product, engineering, risk, and the exception management function to scale payment operations—investigating complex exceptions (failed ACH transfers, declined transactions, settlement discrepancies), managing chargebacks, and identifying root causes
  • Own discrete cross-functional projects (e.g., software platform integrations, new payment method launches, vertical integration into banking system) from scoping through delivery
  • Track KPIs and calculate ROI on operational initiatives to guide resource allocation and support board-level financial modeling and investor reporting
  • Conduct analyses on payment volume, take rates, margins, and value at risk to identify investment opportunities
  • Document processes, create SOPs, and drive operational consistency across our distributed team
