Requirements

  • British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship (security clearance restrictions apply; minimum HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks)
  • Ability to quickly become recognised as an expert and valued adviser in the bid submission process to Approval Committees
  • Ability to maintain robust working relationships with Sales and Programme Teams at National Company and Group level to represent Finance views/requirements in business analysis
  • Ability to maintain and develop business critical skills within the team, manage staff development and turnover in a changing environment
  • Prior experience of costing and/or pricing methodologies in long term contracts (advantageous)
  • Ability to interface with and influence Business leads at all levels in MBDA

Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in the independent review and analysis of bids and other proposals
  • Facilitate internal approvals
  • Provide support to subsequent contract negotiations
  • Operate in a dynamic environment providing insight into MBDA’s strategic business direction through involvement in business case proposals and sales campaigns (UK Domestic and Export, across product life cycle: Assessment Phase, Development, Manufacturing, Customer Service Support)
