Responsibilities

Work in three one-year placements to gain knowledge and experience in various areas of Finance, including potential areas such as Accounting and Planning, Programmes Finance, Cost Control, and Bids and Contract Evaluation
Prepare company level financial plans and reports for senior management and other stakeholders (in Accounting and Planning)
Work as a business partner within multi-functional teams, focused on contract delivery and execution (in Programmes Finance)
Control functional budgets, including Information Management and Facilities, and recover the cost base through hourly rates (in Cost Control)
Support the creation of robust, profitable financial proposals to customers for products and services (in Bids and Contract Evaluation)
Study for the CIMA/ACA Professional Qualification (fully funded by the company) alongside the role, completing the Level 7 Accountancy Professional Apprenticeship by the end of three years

The salary is £31,500 plus a £3000 joining bonus.

What is the work arrangement for this role?

It is a blend of office work with the team and working from home, with a minimum level of office attendance agreed with your manager, such as 2/3 days from home and 2/3 days in office. Face-to-face interaction is emphasized in initial placement phases for better learning.

What security clearance is required for this position?
