Requirements

At least 5 years of tax or accounting experience, preferably within the financial services or securities industry
Degree in finance or accountancy, tax qualification, or a related professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience in Netsuite is advantageous, as well as experience in any automation tools
Must work collaboratively, with a growth mindset and passion for constant improvement and transformation
High level of attention to detail
Multi-tasker, with a focus on effective prioritization and able to work under pressure
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work full time in Singapore (no sponsorship offered)

Responsibilities

Day-to-day and month end accounting processes
Regulatory and other statutory reporting, including filings with the MAS in Singapore, and ideally provide support for ASX filings in Australia
Preparation of financial surveys and other reporting as needed
Prepare GST returns and schedules, and support other taxes including corporate tax and FBT
Preparation of statutory financial statements and assist with the statutory audit process including liaising with external auditors
Management reporting and various analysis activities such as customer or regional profitability
Participate in projects, change initiatives and other adhoc activities
Identify and drive process improvement, best practices and automation opportunities
Supporting closing, reporting, and analysis activities for Singapore and Australia
