Requirements

  • At least 5 years of tax or accounting experience, preferably within the financial services or securities industry
  • Degree in finance or accountancy, tax qualification, or a related professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in Netsuite is advantageous, as well as experience in any automation tools
  • Must work collaboratively, with a growth mindset and passion for constant improvement and transformation
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Multi-tasker, with a focus on effective prioritization and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work full time in Singapore (no sponsorship offered)

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day and month end accounting processes
  • Regulatory and other statutory reporting, including filings with the MAS in Singapore, and ideally provide support for ASX filings in Australia
  • Preparation of financial surveys and other reporting as needed
  • Prepare GST returns and schedules, and support other taxes including corporate tax and FBT
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and assist with the statutory audit process including liaising with external auditors
  • Management reporting and various analysis activities such as customer or regional profitability
  • Participate in projects, change initiatives and other adhoc activities
  • Identify and drive process improvement, best practices and automation opportunities
  • Supporting closing, reporting, and analysis activities for Singapore and Australia
