Candidates must possess an engineering or technical degree, an active CREA or CFT certification, and a minimum of five years of experience in TMS equipment, with at least two years of experience with Baker Hughes equipment, attested by a company involved in scope work on the equipment. They should demonstrate capability in working under pressure, clear thinking, decisiveness, and possess team player skills, along with solid knowledge of compressors equipment and strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
As a Field Specialist, the individual will lead and execute foundation and soft foot checks, equipment assembly/installation and alignment, and independent equipment inspections. They will provide business ownership for work in assigned areas, establish and maintain business relationships with customers and Baker Hughes, drive safety, on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and cost, perform field engineering service work, support emergent and emergency customer needs, create an engaging work environment, own lessons learned processes, support Root Cause Analysis efforts, fuel passion through effective communication and collaboration with customers at all levels, and provide technical direction to skilled craft labor while managing costs and schedules.
