Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license and driving record
Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Responsible for adhering to Hill-Rom Safety Procedures
Must wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing
Frequently works in environments where biohazards could be present (e.g., Hospitals, Service Centers, and Depots)

Responsibilities

Perform complex repair work on all customer and company-owned medical equipment
Perform responsibilities of FST I related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer-owned medical products
Operate a fleet vehicle (box truck or company car ranging from cargo van up to 26,000 pound truck) in a safe manner
Provide direct customer contact
Provide 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts in a timely and professional manner
Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products
Troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components
Use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs
Provide on-call coverage on a 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits
Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1680 pounds
Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract
