Requirements

AS, BS, MS degree, military education, certificate program, or current student with less than 12 months from completion
High School Diploma/GED with 6 months experience servicing electronic, IT or mechanical equipment
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
Ability to interpret schematic diagrams
Ability to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance on basic diagnostic imaging or electronic equipment
Ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy-to-understand manner

Responsibilities

Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs
Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, environmental inspections
Maintain effective customer relations
Follow appropriate GEHC policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation
Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
Implement GEHC/customer facility contract, supporting business goals and objectives
Assist more experienced technicians on progressive repairs and resolution
Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule
Maintain approved parts inventory
Manage vendor's service delivery processes in compliance with GEHC policies
Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration
Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment
Meet Health and Human Services, as well as Environment Health and Safety requirements
Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization
