Requirements

Candidates should possess a completed degree in engineering or a related scientific field, such as physics, electronics, or a comparable qualification. They must have several years of experience in a technical service role, including experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, and high-tech systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in Windows software environments and MS Office applications. Furthermore, candidates must be willing to travel extensively, primarily within their assigned service region, and occasionally internationally, and hold a valid driver's license (Class B).

Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for conducting on-site and remote maintenance, repair, and installation of complex equipment and systems. They will also train customers on basic operation and regular maintenance, maintain and manage local spare parts inventories, coordinate third-party services for on-site work, monitor customer contracts and plan preventative maintenance visits, accurately record and submit all service-related documentation, provide technical and application-specific support to customers, and plan and implement measures to ensure system availability and manage spare parts logistics.
