Candidates should possess completed technical or scientific vocational training, preferably in electrical or medical technology, or a comparable qualification, and a degree as a state-certified technician or engineer is desirable. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, a positive demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills in Polish with a good command of English, and high digital skills. A valid driving license is also necessary.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Thermo Fisher Scientific systems and instruments in customer laboratories, primarily in South Poland. This includes delivering diagnostics, installation, preventative maintenance, repair services, verification, and qualification services, documenting quality assurance measures, offering telephone support and failure analysis, independently planning and coordinating work processes, preparing regular reports, and undertaking special interpersonal tasks. The role also involves traveling to other regions or European countries as needed.
