  • BAC+2 in Biology or Electronics + 1 year of maintenance experience with instrumentation
  • Practical knowledge of the healthcare and diagnostic industries
  • Very good communication skills
  • Skills in customer portfolio management

Responsibilities

  • Maintain diagnostic instruments sold or made available in private laboratories and hospitals within a designated geographical area
  • Perform these operations within the rules and protocols established by Abbott and apply technical and administrative procedures
  • Explain and value interventions to technicians and laboratory managers
  • Respond to customer issues that cannot be resolved by phone
  • Provide advice on interpreting results in relation to Abbott-provided tools
  • Adapt and implement necessary solutions to resolve unusual problems, respecting safety rules and informing superiors
  • Remove old equipment and install new equipment at customer sites
