Requirements

  • BEng or preferably MEng degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or other applicable experience in a high-tech environment
  • Ability to freely travel throughout Europe

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

  • Independent, service-minded individual who can converse with customers at all academic levels

  • Hands-on engineering experience, especially within the field of automation

Responsibilities

  • Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation on all Cytomat Family and other LAI system components and instrumentation
  • Perform on-site training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation
  • Keep track and maintain local spare parts inventory
  • Diagnose problems over the phone and/or using remote software; follow up with on-site work or dispatch third-party service providers as necessary, ensuring resolution to customer satisfaction
  • Actively monitor the status of contract, warranty, and time-and-material installed customers; track and schedule on-site PM visit(s)
  • Ensure all documentation related to in-house and on-site support activity is completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, including maintenance of electronic files, Field Service Reports, Service Work Orders, and Quotes
