Requirements

  • Professional background in Electronics, Molecular Biology, Engineering, or related subjects
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience servicing analytical equipment or equivalent applications specialist experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of working effectively across all levels, functions, and regions
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, especially in the clinical and medical market
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Proficiency in PC skills
  • Valid driving license
  • Willingness to travel mainly within the appointed region (Comunidad de Madrid, Castilla y Leon, Castilla La Mancha) about 70% of the time; the other 30% involves travel to the rest of Iberia, including the Canary Islands
  • Ability to travel internationally, including all EMEA Territory and the US, for training or special calls
  • Strong command of English, in both spoken and written forms

Responsibilities

  • Perform all service activities in compliance with internal guidelines and customer regulations
  • Provide adaptable telephone support, diagnostics, and on-site services to exceed customer expectations and ensure their success with Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments
  • Actively promote our contract products
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to achieve dedication and promptly resolve any critical issues
  • Manage company assets, including inventory, tools, software, and vehicles
  • Coordinate with relevant partners for service planning and scheduling
  • Accurately and timely report all activities as required
  • Align activities at customer sites with other parts of Thermo Fisher Scientific and share important customer information with relevant teams
