Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the planning and execution of global and local programs and activities in territory
  • Works in close conjunction with vertical subject matter experts, sales, and leadership team to identify and target select key accounts for acquisition or growth
  • Rolls out highly targeted marketing programs to encourage strategic engagement with Equinix
  • Delivers high impact product/solution/service launches within territory in alignment with Regional launch plans
  • Manages different types of events within the territory from start to finish, including all aspects of event management and logistics pre- and post-event, working with 3rd parties and agencies to deliver the right event experience and ROI
  • Provides reporting on events and campaigns to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Provides input into social media campaigns to drive successful activities
  • Manages agencies for designated local activity (e.g., PR, macros, event management, telemarketing)
  • Works with Creative Services or third party agencies to develop supporting materials and collateral
  • Ensures activities generate forecast ROI in terms of MQLs/Opportunities within Lead Management SLAs
  • Works with Marketing Operations to ensure leads are captured and progressed through global lead management process and tools
  • Works with Opportunity Development and Sales to ensure leads progress, are qualified, and converted
  • Utilizes SFDC to monitor lead progression and obtain feedback on quality
  • Acts as liaison and plans with local sales teams
  • Liaises with regional and global marketing specialists for product, vertical marketing, programs, and marketing operations
  • Prepares and coordinates activity budgets and escalates concerns to senior members when project costs exceed planned budget expenditure
  • Manages budget for events
  • Creates a local marketing plan in conjunction with global priorities and local business requirements
  • Interacts directly with product managers, vertical marketing, marketing operations, and marketing programs specialists to identify new marketing opportunities, build plans, and measure results
  • Prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization
  • Recommends activities (e.g., third party events, Equinix events, direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, PR, AR, telemarketing), schedules and plans projects, estimates costs, and manages projects to completion
  • Manages local agencies for PR, macros, event management, telemarketing
  • Handles lead and opportunity pipeline management in close cooperation with sales, develops strategies, tracks marketing campaigns to evaluate results, and provides recommendations for future activities
