Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years, Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD with experience in NGS library construction (combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • Hands-on experience with cell culture and tissue handling
  • Experience with NGS sequencing instrument and sequencing run setup along with NGS sample and library prep workflows (preferred)
  • Experience with cell biology, microscopy, and multiomics (preferred)
  • Solid background in NGS sample and library prep workflows as well as cell biology
  • Physically located in France, preference for Paris region
  • Willing to travel frequently to customer sites (up to 80% domestic/international travel)
  • Fluent in French and English (other languages a plus)
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and strong relationship building skills
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable; able to work well within multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in nucleic acids and protein analytical methods
  • Ability to generate high quality and reproducible wet-lab data from established protocols
  • High degree of comfort navigating technical project discussions
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Demonstrated account management skills
  • Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Flexible in working hours, including non-regular business hours for customer support

Responsibilities

  • Frequently travel to customer sites
  • Troubleshoot issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments
  • Support commercial team and customers in their technical applications and provide product training
  • Display professionalism, understanding, tact, fairness, and technical knowledge in all customer interactions
  • Provide strategic and competitive feedback to marketing and product development teams
  • Independently lead or manage beta tests at customer sites
  • Work independently on significant and unique issues requiring collaboration with key decision-makers and senior managers across the organization
  • Assist sales and marketing on pre- and post-strategic sales activities requiring technical depth and market knowledge
  • Deliver customer training and workshops, both in-person and remote
  • Utilize service CRM software to accurately identify and document customer opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes
