Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, with 5-8 years of procurement or sourcing experience, including at least 3 years focused on IT, Cloud, SaaS, Telecom, or API categories. Required skills include strong negotiation abilities, experience with enterprise technology vendors like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce, Oracle, Twilio, Cisco, and Zoom, and knowledge of various licensing models. Proficiency in procurement tools such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include CPSM certification, AWS Cloud Practitioner or FinOps Certified Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
The Expert Sourcing Business Partner will act as the primary sourcing liaison for assigned business units, understanding their technology roadmaps and advising on supplier selection, sourcing strategies, and contract best practices. Responsibilities include supporting sourcing initiatives for cloud services, SaaS applications, telecom, API platforms, and enterprise software, conducting market research, managing supplier evaluations, RFPs, and negotiations. The role also involves partnering with Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance to review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR, SOC 2, and HIPAA, and managing contract expirations proactively. Additionally, the partner will analyze spend patterns to identify savings opportunities, drive total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
