Minimum of 3+ years of production experience or feature film experience preferred
Proficiency in Katana
Proficiency in Maya
Proficiency in Linux, UNIX
Scripting ability in MEL, Perl, and Python (highly desirable)
Knowledge of Renderman shading, volume rendering, and raytracing preferred
Knowledge of relevant compositing software, including Nuke, preferred
Strong compositing skills
Clear understanding of how art and technology should work together
Demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience, including nuances for this specific role, required

Responsibilities

Designs and implements lighting of characters and environments for assigned shots
Ensures assigned shots meet and improve the given art direction
Develops solutions and techniques to meet art/technical direction
Maintains a clear vision of how art and technology should function
Accountable for meeting efficiency and quota targets
Interacts with supervisors/peers to exchange information relevant to the show or sequences
Ensures continuity of the sequence
