Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in motion design, interactive media, or game development, supported by a strong portfolio. Proficiency in After Effects and experience with AI-powered character design and video generation tools are required. Familiarity with Lottie and Rive for animation implementation, collaboration with engineers on technical constraints, and an understanding of how motion, sound, and haptic feedback integrate are also necessary. Experience with AI-augmented workflows and impeccable taste with brand intuition are essential. A passion for games and an understanding of game design principles are highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Motion Designer & Character Animator will design UI animations, build out a character universe, and bring them to life with bold motion and art styles. This role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to craft animations that inspire customers and celebrate their achievements. Responsibilities include extending Rilla's motion language into the mobile and desktop app, website, and marketing creative. The animator will experiment with new software and AI tools to create compelling animations and ensure a joyful, immersive product experience.
