Associates Degree (± 13 years)
Applies subject matter knowledge with capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Servo Motors & Drives, control valves & switches, VFDs, Relays, and different electronic circuits, motors, star delta starters, relay, Panel & switch gear, Contractor
Basic Knowledge of Electrical system
Knowledge of handling equipment’s with safety like applying LOTO during maintenance activity
Ability to work all shifts flexibly when job demands
Capacity for continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Responsibilities

Handling shift maintenance activity for Oral dosage manufacturing area
Ensure compliance of GMP/GEP/GDP
Ensure safety compliance as per Abbott Safety Guidelines
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Work in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process
Supervise electrical works when new installations are undertaken
Learn new skills and attend training programs in order to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry
Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
