Responsibilities

  • Create a vision, define strategy, and develop integrated development plans for assets in the portfolio
  • Develop objective criteria for evaluating assets to enable robust debate and rapid, data-driven decision making
  • Design and execute effective development programs aligned with R&D portfolio goals
  • Engage cross-company expertise, advisory groups, and governance bodies to define, revise, and champion asset strategies and plans
  • Analyze progress, engage in critical thinking, and solve problems to deliver key data and interpretations for decision making
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated assets to commercial with competitive profiles addressing unmet needs and providing shareholder return
  • Ensure team processes and outputs meet program standards (PD&C expectations, budget, schedule, compliance) while streamlining development
  • Engage senior leaders and stakeholders for alignment on strategy, operational plans, risks, competitive landscape changes, and milestones
  • Provide input and drive portfolio-level strategy for internal and external opportunities
  • Participate in regulatory filings (NDA, BLA) and develop related strategies
