Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in employee communications, journalism or marketing
  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration
  • Experience in communications, marketing, customer relations, sales or similar
  • Experience in tech industry is a plus
  • Writing and editing skills, including ideation, content sourcing/creation, revising and polishing written materials
  • Interpersonal communication skills, including ability to build rapport and trust with teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to interact with all levels and roles within the company, including senior leaders, technical team members, communications team members and others
  • Visual communications skills, including the creation of presentations in PowerPoint, creation of infographics and using templates and layout tools to create attractive materials
  • Project management skills, including creating and managing project timelines
  • Experience managing multiple projects/deadlines in parallel
  • Demonstrated experience producing high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable working within and navigating large organizations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage executive communications activities (internal and external) for senior leaders
  • Engage with various internal audiences (e.g. HR, engineering, product management, marketing) to source input to inform communications programs and content
  • Develop executive content, including talking points for internal and external presentations, thought leadership content, blog posts, social media content, and other materials
  • Manage executive participation in key events, including background materials, visuals and rehearsal plans
  • Manage relevant systems and tools to facilitate timely, polished communication to target audiences
